L5: It opened our eyes to new levels of opportunity

Getting in Level 5 is like moving from the AAA to the Big Leagues. That’s the best way I know how to describe it. It is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made over the last 30 years in the insurance business.

Just learning how to tie benefits and WC together was a real eye opener for me. It changes the way clients and prospects think, not to speak of reducing their costs.

“One of the biggest benefits of L5 is the way it opens up new incredible opportunities, none of which I even dreamed about before we joined the group. For example, every agency talks about charging fees but few ever get their first check. We charge small clients $4,800 and they pay it because they see the value we bring to them. There’s proof that L5 works.

That’s not all. The Level 5 process has us thinking in new directions throughout our organization. For example, we’re taking what we’ve learned about reducing injuries on the job and applying it to

a safety program for homeowner’s clients. Everyone wins––by reducing risk, they save money and we benefit from improved loss ratios. It’s another way L5 is helping us differentiate our agency from the competition.

Frankly, getting in L5 has made the insurance business fun again! Sure it costs money, but it’s worth every bit of it.
